For my English ISP I have to read two cross generational novels within the same theme by two different authors then wrte a comparative essay. Im stuck on what two books I should read. Any suggestions? I like to read romance but im open to any other types of novels as well.

By cross-generational, do you mean that the authors were of different generations or that the book contains different generations of characters?
